Fire Extinguishers
Usually the first line of defence, you really want your fire extinguishers to be in top working order should you have to use them. Maintenance is obviously the best way of keeping them in good condition. And it is also a legal requirement.
We pride ourselves on offering a quality service to each customer, so we therefore do not ask our customers to sign binding contracts. We only require you to sign a service agreement confirming the 1st service and the agreed rates going forward. Our employees are not paid on a commission basis unlike our competitors; therefore this will ensure each job is done correctly without having to generate additional work/revenue to meet targets/supplement the engineers income.
All service work is carried out in accordance with BS 5306: Part 3 BY FETA (Fire Extinguishers Trades Association) qualified service engineers.
Standard Service
This is where you pay a nominal charge for the inspection of each extinguisher and all spares and refills are charged for in addition to the individual unit price.
Premium Service
This service is based on a fully comprehensive service where the agreed unit price per extinguisher includes the cost of ALL spares, refill and discharge testing regardless of type.
Premium PLUS
This service is also based on a fully comprehensive service where the agreed unit price per extinguisher includes the cost of ALL spares, refill and discharge testing regardless of type. And in addition ALL condemned/unserviceable extinguishers are replaced FREE OF CHARGE with a brand new equivalent extinguisher. We also offer within this service to replace a minimum of 10% of your existing extinguishers with NEW to ensure a constant ongoing upgrade of your equipment.
This service is quite unique, and perhaps the best way to check its cost effectiveness is to add your total service and new extinguisher purchase invoices over the last 12 months together. Remember you will never incur an invoice for a new extinguisher unless you expand your site space/require additions.
